The artwork “Hope – Welcome to the Future” questions and addresses the idea of value, highlighting the ability of an artistic transformation.  This work illustrates the need for hope, most especially the hope of making things better, the hope for a greater future.  “Hope – Welcome to the Future” explores the composition of a line and manipulates/rearranges lines to an acceptable degree of beauty, an object of value.  What is acceptable of a value? Likening each line to a blade of grass that often goes unnoticed,  “Hope – Welcome to the Future” journeys around the beauty of small details, the unexpected and the hopefulness of what things can later become, that a simple line can manifest.

ABOUT THE SERIES AND PARENT OBJECT

This artwork is part of a performative series entitled “Object 4b41 T77 Nuclei.” The packaged object of “Object 4b41 T77 Nuclei” dwells at the crossroads of four realities – sacred, physical, old, and new.  The entire performance object is in its first of four metamorphosis stages – A Blocking Stage of Re-blocking, Redefining, and Finishing.

Now that we are in the age of AI, so I may not complicate thought before questioning the fear of the implicating power of AI technologies today, relative to the human mind power of art, where objects birth objects through thought, like machines make machines – the role of the power of objects in our daily performative lives cannot be out-matched by AI, where AI itself is a human artful invention.  Here is an Object Art example:
